Michael Louis Peck Sr.

Michael “Mike” Louis Peck, Sr., age 62, of Mokena, Illinois passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving wife on Sunday, October 28, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Mike was born on September 12, 1956 to Louis and Lillian (O’Neill) Peck as one of seven children. He worked as a construction contractor and business owner of Do-All Fence, which he started within the bedroom of his parent’s home, for close to forty years. On November 15, 1980, Mike married his high school sweetheart, Denise Kusay, and October 1, 1982 he welcomed his first of three sons, Michael Louis Peck, Jr..
Mike enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially his beloved wife and three sons. He also very much enjoyed planting flowers, watching his favorite sports teams, playing with his dogs, barbecuing, and catching evening breezes on his swing.
Mike truly lived and loved life to the fullest, and his laughter, personality, and presence were nothing short of contagious. His greatest legacy was his love for his family.
Mike was loving husband of Denise (Kusay) Peck, dearest father of Michael L. Peck, Jr., Daniel John (Kim) Peck, Jason Scott (Rebecca) Peck; fond brother of Debbie (Larry) Black, Gary (Barbeth) Peck, Sharon Armstrong, the late Susan (Bill) Bonnar, Maureen Peck and Michelle Young, and beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, Illinois 60423 on Thursday, November 1, 2018 from 3PM until 8PM. Funeral service on Friday, November 2, 2018 with prayers in the funeral home chapel at 9:15AM leaving for St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 15050 Wolf Road, Orland Park, Illinois 60467 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM. Interment will follow to Good Shepherd Cemetery, Orland Park.
