Michael Jorden West

Michael Jorden West, 63, of Flossmoor, formerly Park Forest passed away at Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey while battling cancer on Aug.18, 2019. He is survived by his daughter, Ashley (Thomas Jr.) Somer of Tinley Park; grandson, Henry Austin Somer; sister, Jean (Philip Perry) Martin of Phoenix, AZ; and nephews: Trevor and Cory Martin and preceded in death by his brother Theodore West. Born in Streator to the late Harold and Jean West, Michael was raised in Park Forest, graduating from Rich Central High School class of 1975. He worked as a motion picture projectionist and was a member of IATSE 110. Services are private.
