55, of New Lenox, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at Silver Cross Hospital, New Lenox. Michael was born in Oak Lawn, IL to Eunice (nee Willis) and the late James J. Celkis. Beloved husband of Angela; Loving father of Christine; Dear brother of James “Doc” (Cheryl), Sandra “Crow” Hill, Thomas “Tombo” (April), Sharon “Pokey” (Perry) Crakes, and Karen “Digger” (Tom) Beglinger; loved uncle of numerous nieces and nephews; cherished friend of many, he is also survived by his step-father Dennis Hoffman. Michael was a Yard Supervisor for K Brothers Fence, Inc in Mokena. He will be missed by all who knew him. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, New Lenox on Sunday, August 30, 2020 from 1pm – 6pm. Funeral Service Monday, August 31, 2020 at 11:00am in the funeral home chapel. Interment with full military honors at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
