Michael E. Ducharme

Age 24, of New Lenox, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2015. Beloved son of Steve and Cathy Ducharme nee Rice; loving brother of Stephanie (Joe) Brown and Matthew (Amanda) Ducharme; adoring uncle of Sadie Ducharme and Steven Brown; treasured grandson of Ken and Peg Rice and the late June Girard and late Edward Ducharme. He also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Michael was a football and wrestling athlete and graduated from Lincolnway Central High school. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, and coached wrestling and football at Lincolnway West High school. Michael touched the lives of many people. He was a cherished son, brother, grandson, uncle, friend, nephew, and coach who will deeply missed and always remembered. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL 60451 on Sunday, August 23rd, 2015 from 2-9 PM. Funeral service Monday, August 24th, 2015 at 10:30 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the University of Wisconsin Platteville Football Office, 1 University Plaza, Platteville, WI 53818 would be appreciated.
