Michael D. Clutter
71, of New Lenox, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at his home. Michael "Big Mike" was born in Chicago to the late Charles W. and Betty Jane (nee Downs) Clutter. Beloved husband of Carol (nee Ostry); loving father of Michael J. (Lisa) Clutter, Thomas (Tiffany) Clutter and Angela (SSG James B.) Dau; cherished grandfather of Alexandra Dau, Jared Clutter, Isabella Clutter and great-grandfather of Grayson Dau; dear brother of Mark (Peggy) Clutter, Mace (Susie) Clutter and Melisande (Rick) Spahn; numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends also survive. Michael retired as a Groundskeeper from St. Francis Hospital, Blue Island after over 30 years of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Michael's name can be made to Wycliffe Bible Translators (https://www.wycliffe.org/projects/worldwide-projects-fund) The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL, 60451 on Friday, June 3, 2016 from 4 - 8PM. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30AM on Saturday June 4, 2016 at Pathway Christian Fellowship Church 19554 NW Frontage Rd. Shorewood, IL 60404. Interment private.
