Maxine Riordan

Maxine Riordan, 77, Frankfort, IL died Wednesday afternoon, September 28, 2011 surrounded by her family.

The former Maxine Pennington was born on August 13, 1934 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Dora and Elmer Pennington. On June 25, 1983 she was united in marriage to her best friend Thomas Riordan.

She enjoyed bowling, sewing, reading and spending time with Tom at the Casino. Her greatest passion was spending time with her family.

Maxine is survived by her husband Tom, her three sons Kenneth (Joann) O'Reilly, Michael (Caroline) O'Reilly, Dennis (Aurelia) O'Reilly, her stepchildren Tom (Kim) Riordan, Donna (Mark) Steinbach, John (Gitta) Riordan, Dan Riordan, and Tim (Erika) Riordan; 14 grandchildren Mick O'Reilly, Christopher (Chelsey) O'Reilly, Nicholas O'Reilly, Brent O'Reilly, A.J. O'Reilly, Jeremy O'Reilly, Amanda Riordan, Emily Nelson, Karoline Riordan, Laura Riordan, Isabella Riordan, Kyle Riordan, Kaitlyn Riordan, Kiera Riordan, Liam Riordan; 3 great grandchildren Nathan O'Reilly, Landon Riordan, Novalee O'Reilly; sister Jean Neises, brother Norman Pennington, her childhood friend Eileen Driscoll and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother Neal Pennington.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
