36, of Mokena, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2015. Matthew was born in Joliet to the late Edward and Rita (nee McCartney) Newsome; Loving brother of Dawn (Nick) Newsome DelMoro, Tracy Newsome Nowaczyk, Melanie Newsome, Wes Newsome, Cari Newsome and the late Edward V. Newsome; step-brother of Joseph Wambaja and Jamie Wambaja; cherished uncle of Christian Mentzer, Savannah Carter, the late Christopher E. Mentzer and other nieces and nephews; devoted boyfriend of Sara Henson and their daughter Sierra Henson; step-father of Cameron, Jonathan and Jordan; best friend of John Gray. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E.
