Age 78, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 25, 2021. Devoted wife of the late William A. Harper; loving mother of Susan (Michael) Slaviero, Cathy (Joe) Schill and Brian Harper; cherished grandmother of Zachary Slaviero, Hannah Schill, Kevin Schill and Sarah Schill; dear sister of Tom (Mary) Cullen and the late William Cullen. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Mae Ann Cullen (Julien).
Known as Pat or Patsy to her friends and family, she began her career as a teacher of Literature at Lourdes High School and went on to work as journalist and editor for many years. She finished her career working in Public Relations for the Will County Department of Education.
Pat was a vibrant, intelligent, talented woman who loved Shakespeare and crossword puzzles and listening to Beatles albums. She adored travel and good food and laughing with her friends. Pat was an avid reader who could answer almost any trivia question--unless it was about sports! She will be missed for her sharp, engaging wit, her gorgeous smile, and her love of life. May she rest in peace, love, and strength.
