(HULBERT)

Born May 7, 1929, died at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home on October 1, 2015, after a brief illness.

Mary lived in Lockport all her married life. She and Oscar Johnson celebrated their 68 year wedding anniversary on September 14, 2015.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Dorothy Hulbert, brothers Charles and Wayne, sisters Betty and Elaine.

Mary is survived by her husband, Oscar Johnson, daughter, Lynda (Ron) Caneva, son, Charles (Carol) Johnson, grandchildren, Jennifer (Mike) Sitar, Chuck (Jen) Johnson, Carl (Kelly) Caneva, Gina Caneva (Mark Eklund), seven great grandchildren and one brother, Joseph Hulbert.

She loved to cook and has an extensive cookbook collection. Mary loved to go to the casino and play bingo. She especially enjoyed her great grandchildren.

Mary's family would like to extend a special "Thank You", to Dr. Dan Co and his staff, and the physicians and staff at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home.

Family will receive friends at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton Street, Lockport, IL 60441 on Tuesday, October 6th, 2015 from 9:00 AM until time of funeral service at 11:00 AM. Interment, Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
