Age 95, of Springfield, passed away on Thursday, April 1st, 2021.

Martha is survived by her loving family, daughter, Janice Vroegindewey, sons, Robert (Sandra Klafta) Vroegindewey Jr., Larry (Jan) Vroegindewey, grandchildren, Brian Atrill (Kelly Parker), Michelle (Jack) Lavallee, Tara (Jeremy) Smith, Kelly (Eric) Eggers, Leah Vroegindewey, Abigail (Thomas) Smith, Caleb Vroegindewey, Jonah Vroegindewey, Tina Antonacci, 19 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Charles & Ala Leah Gerholdt (Soper), husband, Robert Vroegindewey Sr., siblings, Eileen Fulton and Robert Millikan.

Martha from Harvey IL lived the last 45 years in Springfield, IL. She was a lifelong homemaker and loved camping and traveling with her family. She was an avid diehard Cubs fan. Martha was an active member of Calvary Church of Springfield. She volunteered and enjoyed many church and mission activities. In recent years she enjoyed living at Hickory Glen Senior Living. She was much loved by her family and friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 10th, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Calvary Church, 1730 W. Jefferson Street, Springfield, IL 62702.

Interment will be private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to Missions at Calvary Church would be appreciated.
