51, late of New Lenox, passed away March 19, 2012. Born in Chicago, living in New Lenox the past 33 years. Survived by his loving daughter, Carrie Jurkiewicz; mother Diane M. (nee Welch) Rust and a sister Susan (the late William) Mitchell. Preceded in death by his father Thomas C. Jurkiewicz. Mark was a U.S. Army Veteran, a member of Iron Workers Local #1, an Auxiliary Member of New Lenox VFW Post 9545, a member of Joliet Archery Club, and an avid hunter, fisherman and gardener who loved the outdoors. Family will receive friends at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd. New Lenox, IL 60451 on Saturday, March 24, 2012 from 11:00AM until time of Funeral service at 3:00PM. Interment private.
