MARION C. JANICKE

Age 102 of Joliet, formerly of the Bridgeport area, passed away Saturday, September 24th, 2011 at his home in Joliet.

Marion is survived by his loving family, children, Marion J. (Doris) Janicke, Lorraine (Charles) Norgle, JoAnn Follkie, 14 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.

Marion was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Janicke (Navakauskis).

Marion was a former employee of the Chicago CTA and retired after 33 years of service. He was also an avid Chicago sports fan.

Family will receive friends, Tuesday, September 27th, 2011 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox. Funeral service, Wednesday, September 28th, 2011 with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 AM and then to St. Jude Catholic Church, 241 W. Second Street, New Lenox for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment, St. Casimir Cemetery, Chicago. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
