Age 52, a resident of Frankfort, formerly of Lansing, New Lenox, and Chicago, passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. Loving mother of Brittney (Jordan) Cartalino, Bart Zamora, Carson Preston Palcek, and Maximus Valentino Palcek; cherished grandmother of Rocco and Mila Cartalino; beloved daughter of Maria Vargas and the late Emeterio Vargas; dear sister of Isidro (Martha) Vargas, Martha (Gus) Landeroz, Jose Luis (Ami) Vargas, Maria Blanca (James) Hawkinson, Emeterio Vargas, and Benjamin Vargas; also survived by numerous treasured nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Thursday, August 2, 2018 from 3-9 PM.
