Maria Hayes (nee Gervasi), Age 64, a resident of New Lenox, passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2017. Beloved wife of the late John E. Hayes Sr.; loving daughter of Concetta Narducci; cherished mother of Concettina (Edward) Lawler, Kelly Hayes, Melissa (David) Oesterreich, and John Jr. (Amanda) Hayes; treasured grandmother of Vincent, Jonathon, Viktor, Mishelle, Alyxzander, Kamryn, and Dylan; dear sister of Caterina (Paul) Myczek and Raffela (Joseph) Pastorino. Maria enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family. She adored her grandchildren, and will be always remembered and deeply missed. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451 on Sunday, August 13, 2017 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Funeral service Monday, August 14, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment private.
