Maddie R. “Maddog” Grobmeier

18, of Frankfort, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 30, 2019, at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, Park Ridge, IL. Beloved daughter of Frank and Cyndi (nee Masterson), loving sister of Sam Grobmeier; cherished granddaughter of Barbara (nee Conley) and the late Frank Grobmeier and Kathleen (nee Black) and the late Brian Masterson; dear niece of Cindy (Leroy) Legerski and niece and God daughter to Patti (Rich) Hudec; loved cousin of Jackie Tromner, Rich Hudec, Jessica (Ian Jezorek) Hudec, and Adam Jezorek; loved friend of many. Maddie was a gymnast at Gym-Kinetics since the age of 2 and became a competitive gymnast at the age of 6, achieving Level 10 status. She was to continue her education and gymnastics career in the fall at the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse as an all-around gymnast. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, New Lenox on Sunday, July 7, 2019, from 2pm – 8pm. Funeral service Monday, July 8, 2019, with prayers at the funeral home at 9:15am to St. Mary Catholic Church, Mokena for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am. Interment private.
