Lyle L. McGinn
81, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 1, 2012. He was born July 12, 1931 in Lockport, IL to Lyle & Mary McGinn. He served in the U.S. Army from 1953-1955 during the Korean War. Lyle worked as a welder for most of his life. He was a very dedicated family man. Preceded in death by his parents Lyle and Mary McGinn. Survived by his loving wife of almost 60 years Dorothy (nee Kure), children Lyle Pat (Barb) McGinn, Laura (Kim) Forkal, Gary (Michele) McGinn, Greg (Trish) McGinn and Linda (Dave) Molitor. Grandchildren Michael, Katie, Carli McGinn, Jill , Jenna Forkal, Ariele, Jared, Drew, Joel McGinn, and Aubrey, Amber Molitor; Brothers Jack, Rodger(Judy), sister Dolly Calcaterra, numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and cousins also survive. The family would like to thank Vitas Hospice for their care and compassion during Lyle's final days. If desired, Memorials in Lyle's name to Vitas Hospice would be appreciated. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451, on Monday, November 5, 2012 from 9:00AM until time of Funeral Service at 11:00AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
