Louise Olson

Louise Olson (Eccles-Ambrose) passed away suddenly on April 13, 2020 after a full life cut much too short. Louise was a loving mother to her two children Sophie and Chelsea, and was predeceased in 2016 by her husband and life partner, Christopher Olson.


Born on October 3, 1986 in Upton, United Kingdom, Louise was a bright and impish little girl who was always the first to look for new friends and ask the difficult questions to any and all adults that she could get to listen to her. Louise would throw herself into every activity that came her way, and in her younger years was an avid open water swimmer and musician. After living in North Wales and Plymouth in the UK, as well as a time in Munich Germany, Louise landed in Frankfort, Illinois in 2003 as a bright-eyed 16 year-old with enough high school credits to enter a Bachelor of Arts Degree program at Lewis University six weeks before her 17th birthday. Over the next 4 years she completed her degree and graduated with her BA in Radio & Television Broadcasting in May, 2007, still just 20 years of age.


Over the following years Louise threw herself into life as she always had - she had a love of photography and started her working career in that field, as well as getting involved in local theater across the south Chicago suburbs. She met her future husband Chris in 2009, and they had their first beautiful daughter Sophie delivered to them in May 2010. Louise and Chris were inseparable from the time they first met, and words cannot describe the sorrow that she suffered with his passing in June 2016, just a month before the birth of their 2nd sweet daughter Chelsea.


Louise was a beautiful soul who was always ready to help others - whether a stranger or a friend. She loved her children, she loved her husband, she loved her family, she loved her friends, she loved her music, she loved acting, she loved….. everyone and everything, and she will be so missed by everyone who knew her, but especially her children, parents Yvonne and Geoff Eccles-Ambrose, and her siblings David, Jessica and Matthew. Rest in Peace my love.


Given the current COVID-19 pandemic, the family will need to mourn our loss in private, however we are planning a Memorial Service to remember and celebrate the life of Louise will be held at a later date.
