Louise C. Johnson (nee Peterson)

76, of New Lenox, passed away March 1, 2012 at Silver Cross Hospital, New Lenox. Born in Chicago, to the late Algot and Irene (nee Mann) Peterson, living in New Lenox most of her life. Married Eugene Johnson of Lockport in November 1954, they have four children; Alan (Lisa), Marcia Myers (Ed Shubert), Connie (Ron) Sliwinski and Lori Johnson; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her sister Claudia Ewing. Louise worked in the cafeteria at Lincolnway Central High School for 20 years, retiring in 2001. In lieu of flowers memorials to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at 11:00AM at Grace Episcopal Church, New Lenox. Private family interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Joliet.
