Linda L. Beekman

Linda L. Beekman (nee Mayerhofer) age 66, of Tinley Park formerly from Oak Lawn, passed away at home peacefully on September 23, 2014 with her family by her side. Loving wife of Robert J. Beekman Sr.; beloved mother of Robert (Susan) Beekman Jr., Sheryl (Larry) Sedlack, Sheila (Todd) Boender and Cynthia (Jeffrey) Beekman-Bohrer; dearest sister of Jim ( Jeannie) Mayehofer whom she cared for since a youth and Judith (Wallace) Kozin; dear daughter of the late Richard and Adele (nee Schoeneman) Mayerhofer; cherished grandmother of Dave, Kelly (Anthony) Grude and Taylor Beekman, Alan and Loren Sedlack, Joshua and Emma Boender; proud great grandmother of Anthony, Zackary and Matthew Grude; fond aunt to Michael (Patty) Kozin and Sandy (Jim) Anderson and great nieces Alexi Kozin and Charlie Rose Anderson and great nephew Jacob Kozin; pet grandmother of Bently and Max and several other loving fur animals. Linda was a member of Parkview Christian Church in Orland Park and former member and Sunday School Teacher at Our Saviours Lutheran Church in Burbank. A memorial visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Friday, September 26, 2014 from 3:00PM until 8:00PM and again on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Parkview Christian Church 11100 Orland Parkway, Orland Park IL 60467 on Saturday, September 27, 2014 from 10:00AM until time of Memorial Service at 11:00AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Amercian Cancer Society or Epilepsy Foundations would be appreciated.
