Lee R. Rincker

March 3, 1946 — July 5, 2017

Lee Roy Rincker, age 71, passed away, surrounded by his loving family, at his home in Frankfort, IL 0n July 5, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 49 ½ years, Joanne L. (Watson) Rincker, his daughter, Rebecca & (husband) Thomas Davidsmeier of Saint Charles, IL, and his son, Brian & (wife) Meg Rincker of Frankfort, IL. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, ages 1-14.
Lee was born March 3, 1946, the oldest of three children of Roy & Helen (Doehring) Rincker of Strasburg, IL. He is also survived by his sisters, Rosemarie & (husband) Ron Caldwell of Centralia, IL and Ruth Rincker of Mascoutah, IL. He was married to the love of his life, Joanne, on January 13, 1968 at the Methodist Church in Momence, IL.
During his lifetime, Lee served in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam years, received his Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) at Loyola University, and worked as an administrator for the IL Dept. of Mental Health. He followed this with a 35-year career as a financial planner/advisor with Waddell & Reed where he earned many awards and was known for the genuine caring and time taken with his many clients throughout the United States.
Lee enjoyed Singing in the church choir, traveling to many parts of the world, and was a life-long San Francisco Giants baseball fan.
A wake will be held on Monday, July 10, 2017 at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 from 3:00PM until 7:00PM, Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at the New Lenox United Methodist Church, 339 W. Haven Ave., New Lenox, IL 60451 at 2:00PM, lying in state from 1-2PM. Burial will be held privately at the Kankakee Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Kankakee, IL
