Age 84, resident of Thornton, IL., previously of Chicago, Dolton, and South Holland, passed away October 1, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Earnest E. Wiedeman. Loving mother of Thomas (Cyndi); cherished grandmother of Candy (John) Mallee, Lory (Bud) Stone, and Stephanie Wiedeman; dear great-grandmother of 5. Laverne was employed by Arbet Truck Lines for 25 years as an Accountant. Retired to New Port Richey, FL., until 1996, then moved back to Thornton. She loved all of her family. They were the light of her life and she will be missed tremendously by all of them. Funeral Services private.
