Age 43, of New Lenox, passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 25, 2012. Beloved husband of Dawn Nelligan (nee Kane); devoted father of Connor and Ryan; dearest son of Marilynne (Mike) McBride and Jerome (Beth) Nelligan and son in law of Rosemary Kane; fond brother of Jerry (Susan) Nelligan and Colleen (Ryan) Gagnon; brother in law of Mark (Beth) Kane and Lisa (Chuck) Gilmore; dearest uncle to many nieces and nephews; fond nephew of Sheila (Jim) Durkin. Preceded in death by his dear grandparents John and Bernice Nelligan and John and Barbara Schwerin and father in law Edward Kane. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Friday, November 30, 2012 from 3-9pm. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Jude Catholic Church, 241 West 2nd Ave., New Lenox, IL 60451 on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Kevin J. Nelligan Children's Educational Fund, located at any Chase Bank, would be appreciated.
