81 of New Lenox passed away Monday, November 8, 2021. Julie was born in Joliet to the late Clare and Grace (nee Giblin) Tempel. Beloved wife of the late John “Jack” Ludwig; loving mother of John (Sandi) Ludwig, Julie (Tim) Hayes, and Paul (Robyn) Ludwig; cherished grandmother of Riley, Hayden, Carson, and Ella Ludwig, Madison and Brogan Hayes, Dylan, Caleb, and Kylie Ludwig; dear sister of Patrick Tempel and Lucy Feeney. Julie was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church, New Lenox. She was a retired Home Health nurse. Julie enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. They were the light of her life. She always offered a smile, gave the best hugs, and put others first. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, New Lenox on Friday, November 12, 2021 from 3pm – 8pm. Funeral services Saturday, November 13, 2021 with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30am to St. Jude Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am. Interment to follow at Maplewood Cemetery, New Lenox, IL.
