Joyce Ann Boshears

Joyce Ann "Nana" Boshears (nee King), aged 77, of Lockport, IL, formerly of Joliet, IL and of Keiser, Arkansas, passed away peacefully in her home on October 30, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.

Joyce was born on November 23, 1938 to Alice (nee Amos) and Tom King. She grew up in Kaiser, Arkansas as one of ten children. While in Arkansas, Joyce had three children. In 1967, Joyce and her family, moved to Joliet, Illinois. Joyce truly enjoyed being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was everyone's 'Nana'.

Joyce is survived by her siblings: Marty Catt, Tommie Jackson, Tom King, Sue Bailey, Hazel Miles & Patsy Jacobs; Children: Vanita Wesensten, Danny (Sharon) Boshears, and Ronnie Boshears; Grandchildren: Jeremy (Rachel) Boshears, Tabitha (Marissa) Boshears, Brandi Wesensten, Dan Jacaway, Dannelle Boshears, Rachel Jacaway, Jacqueline Boshears, & Jessica Boshears; and her Great-Grandchildren: Jeremy Jr, Michael, Katrina, Audrey, Jace, & Shane Jr.

Welcoming Joyce into the Lord's Kingdom is her mother and father, Alice and Tom King; siblings: Gene King, Ruby Robak and Shelby Hendricks; and one grandson Joe Jacaway.

At Joyce's request, cremation rites will be accorded and a private service will be held.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Silver Cross Hospital and to Joliet Area Community Hospice. In lieu of flowers, the family would like any gifts of memoriam be made to the Joliet Area Community Hospice, 250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet, Il, 60431.
