Age 81, of Mokena, passed away Saturday, June 18th, 2022 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox.

Joyce is survived by her loving family, husband, Thomas B. Jaros, daughters, Suzanne (Glenn) Daly, Jill (Mark) Alles, Kathleen (John) Downes, grandchildren, Daniel Daly, Jaclyn (Ciaran) Cronin, Steven (Marija) Daly, Sara (Dan) Lisak, Michael (fiancée Anne Monroe) Daly, Leah (fiancée Matthew Kramer) Alles, Rachel (Ty) Andrus, Grace Alles, Emma Downes, Abigail Downes, Julia Downes, Anna Downes, John Downes and ten great grandchildren.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Walter & Anna Prawiec (Jender), siblings, Robert (late Jeanne) Prawiec and Janet (late Edward) Daily.

Joyce took much pride in being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother; she referred to her grandchildren as her “Jewels”. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Frankfort; active in the Prolife Ministry in the Chicagoland area and a member of Opus Dei.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Saturday, June 25th 2022 from 10:00 AM until time of prayers at 11:30 AM and then to St. Anthony Catholic Church, 7659 W.
