JOSEPH GOMBOSI

Age 85, of Joliet passed away, Monday, September 15th, 2014 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.

Joseph is survived by his loving family, wife, Margaret "Peg" Gombosi (Toovey), children, Joseph (Jane) Gombosi, Barbara (William ) Albert, Michael (Tammy) Gombosi, Thomas Gombosi, Karen Gombosi, eleven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents and son Richard Gombosi.

Joseph was a member of St. John Vianney Church in Lockport where he was head of the Choir. He was a former social member of the VFW in Lockport as well as the Moose Lodge.

Family will receive friends at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton Street, Lockport, IL 60441 on Friday, September 19th, 2014 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral service, Saturday, September 20th, 2014 with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 AM and then to St. John Vianney Church, 401 Brassel Street, Lockport, IL 60441 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM.
