JOSEPH E. FAIFER

Age 59, of Manhattan passed away on Thursday, January 26th, 2023 at his home in Manhattan.

Joe is survived by his loving family, wife, Erika Faifer (Swider), his beloved dogs, Brutus and our never forgotten Maxwell, nephews, Tom (fiancée Halina) Chakonas, Rob Crosby, dear cousin, Patti Pontrelli and father in-law and mother in-law Andrew & Donna Swider.

Joe was preceded in death by his parent, Leonard & Dolores Faifer (Suchoski).

Joe was a proud member of St. Jude Catholic Church in New Lenox. He greatly enjoyed being the life of the party and serving cocktails to anyone who entered the doors of Joe & ErikaVille. Joe’s greatest accomplishment of late was restoring his father’s Golf Cart for Brutus. He loved traveling to tropical destinations and there was never a piece of wood Joe didn’t like.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451 on Sunday, January 29th, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Funeral service, Monday, January 30th, 2023 with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 AM and then to St. Jude Catholic Church, 241 W. 2nd Avenue, New Lenox, IL 60451 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM.
