69, of Mokena formerly of Bridgeport, passed away Friday, November 8, 2019 at his home surrounded by family. Joseph was born in Newark, NJ to the late Vito and Josephine (nee Furnari) D’Amico. Beloved husband of Maria (nee Spaccaferro) D’Amico; loving father of Vito (Melissa) D’Amico and Josephine (Erik) Burriss; cherished grandfather of Cassidy, Joseph, and Anthony D’Amico and Sicily and Von Burriss; dear brother of Anna (Nino) Chiavetta, Linda D’Amico-Dottore, and Maria Grazia (Salvatore) Ciaramidaro; loved uncle of numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, Frankfort on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 from 3 – 9pm. Funeral Service Thursday, November 14, 2019 with prayers at the funeral home at 9:15am then processing to St. Mary Catholic Church, Mokena for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am.
