Joseph Blaze, 61, born Joseph Blaise Pignotti, passed away at home on April 18, 2018. Father of Nora Gemma Pignotti Murray of Petaluma, CA, and Edie Berlyn Blaze of Naperville. Son of Eleanor Pignotti (nee Amadio) of Naperville and the late Ezio Pignotti. Sister of Jeanine (James) Buishas of Naperville. Uncle of Sarah Bruni of New York, David (Amanda) Buishas of Chicago, and Michael Buishas of New York. Nephew, cousin, great-uncle, and friend to many. Joseph was raised in Chicago Heights and was a graduate of Bloom HS. He studied visual art at SIU and The School of the Art Institute Chicago. He loved his family, making art and fishing. His quick wit and creative energy was infectious to all who knew him. A memorial visitation will be held on Sat., May 12, 10:00 a.m. until the time of Memorial Service at 12:00 p.m. at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 14, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Raphael Church, 1215 Modaff Rd. Naperville, IL 60540.
