John Thomas Wilson, age 91, a resident of Frankfort, formerly of Roseland and South Holland, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020. Loving husband of Elizabeth Wilson (Connors); beloved father of Jim (Mary Jo) Wilson, late Joe (Gretchen) Wilson and Jack Wilson; dearest brother of the late William (late Joy) Wilson and late Mary (Eston) Ellis; cherished grandfather of John Thomas Wilson, Terri (Caleb) Schafft and Beth Wilson. John was a veteran of the United States Navy, a member of the Holy Rosary Irish Church in Roseland and the Knights of Columbus. He worked for Schiele Graphics in Chicago. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 from 9:30 AM until 11:30 AM leaving for St. Anthony Catholic Church for a 12:00 PM Mass of Christian Burial. WEARING MASKS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING ARE MANDATORY FOR ALL IN ATTENDANCE. NO FOOD PERMITTED IN THE FUNERAL HOME. Family only burial at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood IL. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
