Age 81, of New Lenox formerly of Dolton passed away peacefully Saturday, November 26, 2011 at his home with his family by his side

John is survived by his loving family; sons Raymond (Jeanne) and Michael Keeler; daughters Kathleen (Dan) Oaks and Geri (Dan) Frankenstein; six grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Keeler (nee Broderick) and his parents Raymond and Ann (nee Londo) Keeler.

John was a Salesman for La Preferida foods in Chicago and a veteran of the United States Coast Guard serving in the Korean Conflict.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Road New Lenox, IL 60451, Wednesday, November 30, 2011 from 3 to 8PM. Funeral Services, Thursday, December 1, 2011 prayers in the funeral home at 10:30am leaving for St. Jude Church for a 11:00am Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
