John “Jack” N. Best

90, of Frankfort, passed away Monday, April 27, 2020 at Clarendale of Mokena surrounded by family. Jack was born in Kalamazoo, MI to the late Wallace and Olga (nee Nelson) Best. He was the beloved husband of the late Norine (nee O’Toole) Best; loving father of Lana (Joseph) Levy, John Best, and Tom (Wendy) Best; cherished Papa of John “Jack” (Katie), Aaron (Nicole) Levy, Matthew (Megan) Levy, Jason, Timothy (Dora), Benjamin and Jacob “Jake”. He was the great grandfather of 11. Jack was a member of the Bricklayer’s Union Local 21 for 70 years. He was an owner of Architectural Sealants, Inc. in Frankfort for over 30 years and retired at the age of 80. Due to COVID-19 and IDPH guidelines, a celebration of Jack’s incredible life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Association in his name would be appreciated.
