JOHN E. DUNHAM SR.

Age 84, of Frankfort, passed away Wednesday, July 25th, 2018 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox.

John is survived by his loving family: wife: June Breese (Horan), children,:John (Denise) Dunham Jr., Daniel (Jennifer) Dunham, Thomas (Lisa) Dunham, James (Mardi) Dunham, step children: Donald Cunning, Jeanette Murray, James Cunning and grandchildren: Theresa Dunham, Caitlin Dunham, Conor Dunham, Kiernan Dunham, Aidan Dunham, Declan Dunham, Brianna Dunham and Jenna Dunham.

John was preceded in death by his parents, George & Gertrude Dunham (Rabbitt) and his first wife Geraldine Dunham (O’Neill).

John was a United States Army Veteran and a retired Principal from school district #150 in South Holland. He was a former member of St. Lawrence O’Toole, a current member of St. Anthony Catholic Church; Knights of Columbus and life member and past Chaplain of the VFW Post 1493 in Frankfort.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Sunday, July 29th, 2018 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral service, Monday, July 30th, 2018 with prayers at the funeral home at 10:00 AM and then to St. Anthony Catholic Church, 7659 W. Sauk Trail, Frankfort, IL 60423 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. Interment, Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
