Joanne Foglton Lapenda, age 87, passed away on Thursday, January, 1st, 2015 in New Lenox. Beloved wife of James M. Lapenda; loving mother of Michael (Kimberlee) Foglton and David Foglton; cherished grandmother of James, Nicholas, and Caroline Foglton; dear aunt of Darlene (Chip) Cleminson, and Gail (Cliff) Darnton; and great-aunt of Dr. Monique Cleminson. Joanne was preceded in death by her first husband Steven P. Foglton; her parents Joseph and Lucy Marchet and sister Irma (Frank) Osadzienski. Joanne enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and could light up the room with her joy and laughter. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be sorely missed. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL., 60451 on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 from 4-8 PM. Funeral service Wednesday, January 7, 2015 with chapel prayers at 9:15 AM to St. Mary Church, 19515 115th Ave, Mokena, IL 60448 for a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial.
