Joan Stephanie Sosnowski, age 93, of Frankfort formerly of Chicago, passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2021. Loving wife of the late Sylvester Sosnowski; beloved mother of Cynthia Cumbee, Kathleen Raven and the late Karen Sosnowski; dearest sister of the late Alec Nowicki and the late Mary Allen; cherished grandmother of John (Jennifer) Cumbee, Mark (Julie) Cumbee, Matthew Cumbee, Michael (Leann) Cumbee, Kaitlin Raven and the late Kelsey Raven; proud great grandmother of John David Cumbee, Max Cumbee, Colton Cumbee, Camden Cumbee and Gianna Cumbee. A visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM. Prayers in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 AM leaving for St. Anthony Catholic Church, Frankfort for a 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial. All IN ATTENDANCE ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR A MASK AND SOCIAL DISTANCE. NO FOOD IS ALLOWED IN THE FUNERAL HOME. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Lightways Hospice (formerly known at Joliet Area Community Hospice) would be appreciated.
