Joan K. Depke

Joan K. Depke, 88, of Tinley Park, passed away on Sept. 12, 2018. Preceded by her husband James A. Depke in 2009 and her brother, Richard Panos. She is survived by her loving family, Sons: Joseph (Dorothy Jacobson) Oswald of Alsip and John(Judi Moravec) Oswald of MN; grandchildren: Joe (Lisa) Oswald, Katie (Rick) Johnson, John Oswald, Daniel and Stephanie Oswald. Great-grandchildren: Emma, Joe, and Jack Oswald, Eliana Johnson. She is also survived by her former husband, Joseph Oswald. Joan worked for many years in the transportation industry. She is a past president of the Women’s Traffic Club of Chicago. She loved to cook, knit, and crochet and to share her many beautiful works with her family. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 27th from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Memorial Service at 12:00 p.m. at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way in Frankfort, IL 60423.
