Age 47, passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at his home in Frankfort surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Kate Carroll (Anderson); loving father of Jimmy Jr., Jack, and Emma Carroll; treasured son of Betty (Joe) Russo (Preston) and the late James J. Carroll; dear brother of Shawn (Kim Kavalauskas) Carroll; fond son-in-law of Karen and Wayne Anderson and brother-in-law of Brian (Julie Arens) Anderson and Kris (Dave) Pike; adoring uncle of Kate, Andy, Arielle, Luke, Josh, and Rider. Jim was a dedicated Stock Options Trader. He enjoyed coaching his children in different sports, and spending time with his family. Jim was a patient husband, devoted father, dear son, and respected friend who will be deeply missed and never forgotten. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM. Lying in State Friday, May 26, 2017 from 9:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 10:00 AM at Parkview Christian Church, 11100 Orland Parkway, Orland Park, IL 60467.
