Jennifer Lynn Vaneck

Jennifer Lynn VanEck, age 48, a resident of Joliet formerly of Park Forest, Manhattan and New Lenox, was ushered peacefully, into her eternal home, with her closest loved ones by her side, on Tuesday August 25, 2021, in the comfort of her home. She is survived by her loving family; beloved daughter Breanna (Anthony Morelli) VanEck; parents Terry and the late James Baron; former husband and close friend Scott VanEck; parents by birth Tom Meehan and Susan Schwartz; and brothers Matthew Schwartz and Andrew Schwartz, along with many amazing friends. Jennifer was a Regional Vice President for Integrity Trade Services, where she was dearly loved, highly esteemed and respected, by her co-workers and business associates. Jen loved attending Grace Fellowship Church in Mokena. To know “Jen” is to know resilience, authenticity, strength, kindness, humor and straightforward truth. When you think of Jen, remember her beautiful eyes and the warmth of her smile. Remember how much she treasured her loved ones, especially her baby girl, Breanna, her precious Mom, Terry, her family and friends, and her puppies. Remember her triumphant, generous spirit, glistening soul, her unquenchable love and zeal for life. Remember a fighter, a warrior and hero, who stubbornly and tenaciously fought with everything she had to heal, against all odds. Most of all, remember her undying faith, hope and love. “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11. Jennifer’s visitation will be held at Grace Fellowship Church 11049 W LaPorte Road, Mokena IL 60448 on Sunday, August 29, 2021, from 1:30 PM until 5:30 PM with a celebration of life service immediately following at 5:30 PM.
