Jeff B. Fowler

Jeff Fowler, age 54, died Monday, December 15, 2014 at Salem Village Nursing Home in Joliet, from a yearlong battle with colon cancer. He is survived by his parents Beverly and John G. Fowler Sr., his brother John G. (Valarie) Fowler Jr., sisters Jill (Robert) Lawson and Joan Aust. A native of Frankfort, Jeff lived in Cypress IL for the past 20 years. He graduated from Shawnee Junior College with an associate's degree in Horticulture. He spent his career working as a tropical plant caretaker. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, all things outdoors, and was an advocate of wildlife preservation. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19, 2014 at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 from 10:00Am until time of the funeral service in the chapel at 11:00Am. Interment will be private.
