Janice L. Smith

Janice L. Smith (nee Eppenstein) 78, of Frankfort IL. was born in Chicago to the late William and Virginia Eppenstein and passed away peacefully at home with family by her side. Beloved wife of Lonnie Smith Sr, loving mother of Lainie (David) Hippleheuser, Beth (John) Ward, Lonnie (Caroline) Smith Jr.; Proud grandmother of Nathaniel Hippleheuser, Eric Hippleheuser, Jonathan Ward, Joshua Smith, and Maddie Ward; dear sister of Ann (Tony) Norkus, Bill Eppenstein, the late Bob (Sue) Eppenstein, and Sue (George) Creamer; fond aunt to many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 65 Old Frankfort Way Frankfort IL on Wednesday August 9th from 3-8pm, funeral mass to follow Thurday morning at 10am St Mary Catholic Church Mokena, with interment at Evergreen Cemetery Evergreen Park, IL.
