Raue, James R.
Age 77, of Lockport, passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center, Joliet. Survived by his loving family; sons Mark (Sara DeLucio) and John; daughter, Barbara Chamberlin; grandchildren, Jeremy Holsey, Kara-lyn Raue, David Francis Raue and James Arthur Chamberlin. Preceded in death by his wife Helen (nee Seeley); grandsons, Samuel Richard and Michael Jacob Chamberlin; parents, Harold and Marion (nee Gardner) Raue; a brother Harold J. Raue and a daughter-in-law Rene (nee Holsey) Raue. James was a retired Meat Inspector for the State of Illinois. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ, Lockport, Member of Lockport Masonic Lodge #538, Order of the Eastern Star, and past President of the Joliet Shrine Club. In lieu of flowers memorials to the First Congregational United Church of Christ would be appreciated. Family will receive friends at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton Street, Lockport, on Sunday, September 11, 2011 from 4PM to 7 PM. Lying in state Monday, September 12, 2011 at First Congregational United Church of Christ, Lockport from 10:00AM until time of services at 11:00AM. Private family interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood.
