Age 71, of Mokena formerly of Crete, passed away on Friday, October 19, 2018. Loving husband of Paulette Luchansky for 48 years; beloved father of Amy (Greg) Ristich, Gretchen (Justin) Quirke and Kara (Andrew) Noble; cherished brother of Sharon (Don) Maynor and Gail (Bill) O’Hanley; dearest grandfather of Alison, Lauren and Adam Ristich, Max, Jake and Brynn Quirke and Jack, Madelyn and Luke Noble; fond brother-in-law of Jennifer (late Leon) Young, Barbara (Tom) Lindquist, Gwen (Mike) Finnegan and Kim (Kevin) Dixon; dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Jim was a former member of Faith United Protestant Church in Park Forest, past treasurer of the Crete Baseball and Softball Association and Crete –Monee Warrior Boosters. Jim was an avid fan of his beloved Chicago White Sox, Blackhawks and Bears and enjoyed coaching girls softball for many years. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Funeral Service in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow to Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Frankfort.
