James Haggard
72, of Homer Glen, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family. Jim was born in Chicago to the late Kenneth and Katherine (nee Crawley) Haggard. Beloved husband of Joan (nee White); loving father of Brian Haggard, Nicole (David) McDonald, and Brandon Haggard; cherished grandpa of Sophia and Mason McDonald; dear brother of the late Kathleen (Glen) Taylor, Chuck (Barbara Baird) Haggard, the late Bob (Sandy) Haggard, Pat (Jay) Phillips, Pam (Chris) Prebble, Rick (Lori) Haggard, and Nancy (Rolin) Mueller; loved uncle of numerous nieces and nephews. Jim was a Boiler Room Operator and retired from Midwest Generation after 40 years of service. He was a U.S. Marine Corps and Vietnam Veteran. Due to COVID-19 and the IDPH Guidelines private services were held. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
