JAMES D. KOON

Age 83, of Mokena, passed away Sunday, May 8th, 2022 at his home in Mokena.

James is survived by his loving family, wife, Marianne Koon (Sherbourne), children, Deborah (John Zambon) Pecsenye, Lisa (David) Monken, sister, Joyce Koon, grandchildren, Michael Hammang, Evon (Becca) Pecsenye, Rheanne Pecsenye, Dakota DeMarco, Lily Koon, great grandchildren, Haley Hammang and Austin Hammang.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Firman & Alice Koon (Evers) and son James Firman Koon.

James was a lifelong member of the Teamsters Union; a member of the Lions Club in Mokena; a member of the Chicagoland Lionel Railroad Club and a former volunteer at Silver Cross Hospital.
