James A. Kannberg

James A. Kannberg, age 69 a resident of Matteson, passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021, at Franciscan Health Medical Center, Olympia Fields. Loving husband of Gayle Kannberg (Harvey); beloved father of Jennifer (Brian) Rees; cherished grandfather of Evan Rees; dearest son of Elsie (Hunt) Kannberg and the late Leonard Kannberg; fond brother of the late Robert Kannberg; dear uncle to Bryan Finnegan and Brian Kannberg and dearest sister-in-law to Lynda (Harvey) Kellow. James worked as a Service Writer & Quality Control Technician at Arnie Bauer Cadillac and was a member of the American Legion Post in Matteson. A visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Monday, November 29, 2021, from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Legion Post in Matteson.
