IRENE E. BLASING

Age 96, of Crete, formerly of Lockport passed away Wednesday, November 15th, 2017 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice House in Joliet.

Irene is survived by her loving family, children, Noel (Eileen) Blasing, Barri Blasing, sister, Lois Jenco, grandchildren, Staci Dorian, Korri (Keith) Worden, Calli Dorian, Daniel (Natalie) Blasing, Matthew Blasing, Patrick Blasing and eight great grandchildren.

Irene was preceded in death by her parents, Howard & Elsie Weaver (Flugga), her husband of 65 years Fred Blasing, daughter, Lianne Dorian and sister, Luella Bolte.

Irene was a farmer's wife for many years before becoming a proud school bus driver who served many school districts and contractors for 48 years.

All services and interment will be private.
