Hildagard M. "Hilde" Grigat

Hildegard M. Grigat, 84, passed away at her home at Salem Village in Joliet on Nov. 12, 2017. Survived by her loving family: children: Florentine (Detlef) Klimpe, Christel (Donald) Powell, Michael Grigat, Step-children: Joseph (Bridget) Grigat, Barbara Dandridge, and Sherry Pfingston. Grandchildren: Dean (Julie) Phelan, Tobias (Babs) Klimpe, Susanne (Holger) Krings, Bianca (Ryan) Jennings, Ashley Pavesich, Joseph Grigat, Joshua Grigat, Corey Grigat, Floyd Grigat and the children of Barbara and Sherry. Sisters: Gerda (Carl) Ray and Irma (Lee) Parks. She was preceded in death by her daughter Michelle (late Gregory) Pavesich in 2015 and her husband, Floyd R. Grigat in 1985. Hilde was a foster parent to many children over the years that she lived with her husband Floyd in Tinley Park. Memorial Visitation will be held on Thur., Nov. 16, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL.
