HERMAINE LOUISE ROTENBERG
(FREISS)

Age 93 of Frankfort, formerly of Florida, passed away on Monday, December 20th, 2021 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox.

Hermaine is survived by her two sons, Craig (Sharon) Griffith and Kevin (Marlys) Griffith, grandchildren, Gabriel, (Jennifer) Griffith, Amanda (Walter) Sciberras, Sarah (Aaron) Asbrand, Brian (Megann Barker) Griffith, great grandchildren, Emily, Cameron, Addison, Samantha, Gabriella, Madison, Abigail, Rosalie, Quinn, Palmer and Jacob.

Hermaine was preceded in death by her parents, Herman & Martha Freiss (Unger) and her husband of 50 years, Jerome L. Rotenberg.

Hermaine worked as a nurse’s aid at Little Company of Mary Hospital in Evergreen Park. She also worked as a Medical Secretary at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Chicago. She loved to travel and has been to many countries. Her greatest passion was her needle point. She loved making pictures for her children and grandchildren. She was known as a very loving and giving person and will be missed by her family and friends.

Graveside service, Monday, January 10th, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W. Hoff Road, Elwood, IL 60421. Please arrive to the cemetery by 11:45 AM. Arrangements by Kurtz Memorial Chapel, Frankfort IL. For information www.kurtzmemorialchapel.com or 815-806-2225.
