79, of Crest Hill, passed away Friday, December 23, 2016 at his home. Henry was born in Kings, IL to the late Henry H. and Laura (nee Gieger) Hendricks. Beloved husband of Ruth (nee Prussner); loving father of Stuart (Kelly) Hendricks, Daniel Hendricks, and the late Henry Hendricks Jr.; cherished grandfather of Meaghan and Jacquelynne Hendricks; dear brother of Gloria (the late Edward) Metzler, twin sister the late Henrietta (the late George) Hoefer, the late Gertrude (the late Jim) Timm, the late Ella (the late Stuart) Sandstrom, and the late Joseph (Sylvia) Hendricks; fond uncle of numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; Stepfather of Debra (John) Vocu, David (Tammy) Crosson, Diana (Robert) Tolentino, and Daniel (Kristin) Crosson; step-grandfather of Amy, Megan, and Emily Vocu, Grace, Paul, and Frank Crosson, Andrew, Joshua, and Jacob Tolentino, Alaina and Karlyn Crosson. Henry was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He was a Mason and a member of York Rite Commandry. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Henry's name to Stone Hill Bible Church, Joliet or Angels Grace Hospice would be appreciated. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd. New Lenox, IL 60451 on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 4:00PM until 8:00PM. Funeral service on Thursday, December 29, 2016 with visitation from 10:00AM until time of Funeral Service at 11:00AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park, Joliet.
