Henrietta Konecki (nee Janiak)
65, late of New Lenox formerly of Lansing, IL, passed away peacefully Friday, June 13, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family. Henrietta was born in Poland to the late Jan and Natalia (nee Jackowska) Janiak. Beloved wife of the late Bogdan F. Konecki; Loving mother of Monica (Carl) Sciackitano and Lisa (Kazimierz) Bryjak; Cherished Babcia of Natalie and Jack Sciackitano, and Alex, David and Amelia Bryjak; Dear sister of Jerzy (Maria) Janiak, the late Janusz Janiak and an infant sister that preceded her in infancy. Henrietta was blessed with the love of many nieces, nephews, godchildren, relatives and longtime friends. Henrietta was retired from Carl Buddig after 22 years of service. She is missed by all who knew her. Family will receive friends at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd. New Lenox, IL 60451 on Monday, June 16, 2014 from 3-9PM. Funeral Service Tuesday, June 17, 2014, with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 AM to St. Jude Catholic Church, New Lenox for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City.
